The Digital Pricing Debate
Let’s talk eBook pricing for a couple of minutes. In the romance genre, trade paperbacks are reaching up toward the $9 mark while a lot of digital indie authors are either selling their novels for 99 cents, or—gasp!—giving them away. When I initially learned about the free or mostly-free camp I thought, what the hell’s the point? But as I heard their arguments, I began to wonder if they were on to something.
Now, I’m not so sure again.
Tips from a Debut ePubbed Author
To be honest, e-publishing was not even on my radar when I began my writer’s journey three years ago. Even as I write that, it sounds conceited and high-brow, but really, it was simply a case of ignorance. Yet, the more time passes and the more involved I become with different writer loops, the more I’m intrigued with it. Especially since my TV-loving mother got a Kindle before me. You should hear her brag about all the books she’s devoured since Christmas. What the hell?
